Six state prisons are located in New Hampshire. The other prisons are transitional housing facilities for low-risk prisoners who will soon be freed, while one prison is exclusively for men.


Only about 2,700 prisoners are housed in New Hampshire's state prisons. Additionally, there are 2,100 prisoners in county jails across the state. Inmates awaiting trial and those serving brief terms are housed in these facilities. 440 people are incarcerated in federal prisons as well.

8. Review the search results to find the inmate you are looking for. The search results will provide the inmate's name, inmate number, and facility where they are currently located.
9. Click on the inmate's name or inmate number to view additional information.
As with the previous method, it's important to note that not all facilities may be included in the search results, and the information provided may not be up-to-date or accurate. If you are unable to find the inmate you are looking for through this method or the previous one, you may need to perform an offline search as described in my earlier response.
